I’ve recently returned from a long weekend in the Isle of Man and this month’s scone review features two charming establishments I visited, while on holiday, where I enjoyed cream scones.
This month I made a return visit to The London Landmark. I had previously blogged about their Valentine’s Afternoon Tea (before I started writing the London Scone Review) and Katie and I were looking forward to partaking of their afternoon tea.
This month I fancied trying something a little bit different so Katie and I went to the Argyll Arms, Oxford Circus, for afternoon tea in a pub.
In April in my never ending quest for delicious scones, I teamed up once again with the delightful Dr Immy Smith, and we visited the Audleys Wood Hotel, in Basingstoke, Hampshire, to partake in their traditional afternoon tea.
This month’s edition saw me making a return visit to the Ampersand Hotel, one of my favourite afternoon tea venues, and also enjoying an enormous home made scone in a garden centre.
This month saw me enjoying scones while indulging in afternoon tea with a board game theme.
Welcome to Scones of the Month 2016, where I started with a return visit to J + A Café.
